This time, we have looked at Pronunciation and Phonology, the two topics I was most afraid of. Luckily, I can say now that I think I have understood most of it or at least more.
We discussed intonation, so the variation in volume and pitch in a sentence, stress, the stressing / \"highlighting\" different parts of a sentence / word, the phonemic alphabet, articulation and ways to teach the above mentioned. I think a lot of teachers stray away from teaching this since it might not be covered well / thoroughly enough in our education. Therefore, seeing those videos along with reading the text really wow-ed me and will hopefully change my attitude towards this topic and teaching it.
