In this unit I learned how to construct a lesson plan from beginning to end. Lessons should start with engaging the class with an introduction of the course material. An example of engaging could consist of reviewing content from the previous lesson while integrating new information in a kind of activity. Activities include games where the whole class participates, is broken up into groups or pairs. The teacher could have the class interview each other, finish sentences, and guess the picture along with many other activities. In the study phase of a lesson, the students put to task the new vocabulary or grammar they have just accumulated. This could be done using worksheets filling in the blank, crosswords, word searches and more. The activate phase concludes the lesson sharing the students knowledge of the course material and giving time for any correcting.
