When referring to conditionals, we are noting the use of \"if\", and \"when\". In the past, present, and future possibilities. There are five main conditionals. They are zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditional. The if clause contains the condition that has to be satisfied, before the action or state in the main clause can be realized. The main clause can be thought of as expressing the consequence. We also refer back to our present, past, and future tenses when forming sentence structures with the conditionals.
