At this stage of EFL training the teacher aids and equipment are very exciting to see how and why they are useful and in what manner they can be utilized most effectively and aid the students' language acquisition. There are many opportunities to be creative and engage with the students. There's lots of equipment to aid acquisition and one of the most useful things to remember is that the students have each other for activities!
Prior knowledge of the proposed equipment is essential so as to not waste time or resort to less effective or unscheduled topics. this in turn allows the teacher to exert more confidence over the direction of the lesson. But it is also important not to become to reliant on one medium and therefore it is important to remember to mix the lesson and stimulate activity in various ways.
