Modal and phrasal verbs were concentrated on. I found the phrasal verbs slightly more complicated to understand and had to refer back to them a couple of times before understanding or appearing to understand them. This is likely going to be difficult to teach should I not have a clear grasp it. The modal verbs are easier to understand and I was able to picture activities on how to teach them to learners.This was a highly intuitive chapter as well. I actually wish it was longer and included advice for working with students who have special needs. The information about using pair work for shy and for strong/weak students was quite helpful, although it might cause problems if it turns out that the students don't like on another. I enjoyed studying this course and may use these services again in the future.
