In this section, we looked at the productive skills: speaking and writing. They are both used to communicate. It was explained that we will need to focus on accuracy during the study stage and fluency during the activate stage. The teacher face the challenge to create the need and desire in their students to communicate, both in speaking and in writing. We were given different ideas of games and activities that encourage communication.This lesson was quite informative. I have never heard about an interactive white board, tell a little about the last time I taught a class in the last 5 years. The pieces of equipment that I believe would be most useful are; 1. the white/chalk board, 2. the text book, as all students most likely have one or access to one and lastly, visual aids. A computer would be great for all students, but in reality, location,location,location.
