This was a fun video unit, as it showed the same teacher teaching the same concepts to the same students. The results shown in the second video were very enlightening. The first video showed the teacher mumbling, never smiling, somewhat shaming the students by saying the concepts should be easy. The students were silent and appeared very confused. In the second video the teacher was fun and engaging and spoke very slowly and clearly. He used a variety of techniques to get the students interested and attentive. It was clear that by the end of the lesson the students had comprehended the difference between can and can't, while also practicing vocabulary for various animals and verbs that described actions. The teacher drilled many of the words over and over in a clever way.
