The past is often difficult for students learning English as a second language, and students learning English as a primary language. It is often confusing because there are many irregular words and there is not a simple way to remember all of them besides memorize them. This often causes problems, but I think having the chart will help teach students the proper terms in the past.I find this unit easy as it is more of a revision of what i have studied in my high school and i make use of these tenses in my daily life. I use these tenses so often but i did not know how to explain them to my students at times when they asked me why is it like this and not that. Now i am able to explain with reasons and give examples as well. so this unit is very good review.
