This lesson has helped to show what a real lesson may be like. It also helped to explain what skills are important and how to build them. I also enjoyed the knowledge about what the skills are called and how they relate to the lesson. Also the second half of the unit booklet with example exercises which show how these skill can be activated and used in a classroom.Reading and listening are two important receptive skills. They both are equally important. When selecting study materials for reading and listening, it is important that the teacher selects the topic that interests all of the students. Additionally, proper level of texts should be used to ensure that students feel confident in their abilities to read and listen.
