This was a very difficult unit as future tenses have such a plethora of different tenses and usuages. It is overwhelming to me I can only imagine the level of difficulty it would present to a non native speaker. For succesful teaching these tenses will have to be committed to memory if the teacher does not know each one interchangeably off the top of his or her head.The videos in this unit were really helpful for comparing how a class should be taught to how it shouldn't be.
I learned that the teachers attitude towards the class has a huge impact on the students attitudes and that if the class is made interesting and fun it will be much more effective than if the class is boring and the students have no rapport with the teacher.
