This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit, much like the present tense unit, explained the differences between future tenses. It's difficult to decipher the usages in each tense, so the details about how each tense differs from the one it is most confused with helps. Because there are also present tenses that can be used to describe an action in the future, it's rather unclear in which unit we should be categorizing these few tenses. For me, in this particular area, the most important fact is that there are three different times (past, present, future) and four different aspects for these tenses: simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. It?s important to teach properly each aspect of each tense and the different form of each aspect in that particular tense: positive, negative and question forms and their proper usages.
