This unit looks at course books and lesson materials. I got to know about different types of materials, course book advantages\\disadvantages, how choose and use one for achieving study goals. There are also presented samples of crossword, wordsearch, flashcards, role-play cards to keep for teaching work. I understood that no matter how a course book is good a teacher should vary activity and adapt tasks for his students.Here we look at the various ways of evaluating students' level and progress. Students can be assessed through tutorials, evaluation by students and test. Tutorials can take place in groups or individually. Evaluation by students can be done through questionnaires or guided discussions. Test can be done through formal test or group work. Test methods include:placement test, progress test, diagnostic test and practice test.
