This unit looks into the different manners in which the past can be discussed inn terms of verb aspects. In this unit I learned that there are 4 aspects of the past tense with these aspects being the simple past tense, the past continuous, the past perfect and the past perfect continuous. What is more, this unit helped me understand that the present perfect contains an element ion the past.I found this unit to be very helpful actually seeing the differences in 2 teaching experiences. it certainly highlights more than just reading through a chapter of ways to engage the students. Having this as a visual reminder will help me when teaching int he future. It was also good to see how prepared the teacher was, he had things ready to hand when needed to act as support for his lesson.
