Creating a lesson plan takes time. I have always had an object at the start of giving a lesson what I would like my students to achieve or learn during this time. I have had to from time to time slow the individual tasks in study phase so that the students can fully understand what they are being taught with the correct grammar pronunciation. This unit of lesson planning and having to do the two lesson plans gave me more insight on how to be more effective without more teacher talking time. the guided times with in the example showing a timeframe that should be considered. My lesson is an hour long and often the engage stage lasts 15mins. I would like to try in practical to use the guided times and evaluate myself as part of my monitoring of lessons.
