This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was similar to the previous grammar topics covering the present and past tenses. However, the future tense seems more complicated with the added inclusion of the present simple, present continuous and 'going-to' future, which can also be used to express ideas about the future.
Because this tense is so complicated, I feel that it should be tackled in parts so that students can get a thorough understanding of each individual structure. For example, they should be comfortable expressing their thoughts with the future simple, future continuous and 'going-to' future tense before moving on to others.
The topic also gave many ideas for teaching resources that could be useful in teaching students about a particular tense or sentence structure.
