This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
There are a lot of ways to express the future tense in English, but most commonly used are the 'going to' future tense and the present continuous. Students should be able to notice patterns with the forms of the future tense, especially assuming the student has prior knowledge of the other tenses (present and past tenses are usually taught before the future). The 'pure' forms (future simple, future continuous, future perfect and future perfect continuous) all have 'will' + verb or \"will be\" + verb. Continuous forms always use 'ing' verbs, and perfect forms always use some conjugation of have. What I expect can be challenging is helping students apply their knowledge of the present tense (simple and continuous forms) to talking about the future.
