This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I enjoyed this unit because it showed me how material I have studied so far, such as the ESA structure, managing classes, and lesson materials, can be used and applied to make lesson plans. The examples were very useful, and it was a valuable experience to study them and practice creating my own lesson plans. I had not previously considered including teachers's goals and areas for improvement or potential problems and solutions in lesson plans, but now I can see why they are useful points to consider. Knowing what you want to improve on personally as well as what you want the students to learn enables you to plan lessons which are mutually beneficial. Also, being aware of potential problems in advance will ensure lessons run more smoothly.
