This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I have learned that a good teacher considers everything, starting with themselves and then moving on the their students. Students look towards their teachers as a blueprint as to what they should improve on or strive to become. A teacher should also be very observant as students give off tell tale signs that teachers should keep an eye on so they know how they should conduct the class and what would be most effective. A good and friendly study environment would also motivate students more and also keep them interested in the lesson. A teacher also knows when they should take charge and when to step back and let the student work out a problem themselves as both helping and leaving them be will provide encouragement to want to learn more.
