Wow! this is truly a refresher course for me. I have learned once again the parts of speech and everything there is to knowing the functions of each part. I particularly struggled in the preposition which, I must admit, is difficult to non-native speakers like me. However, since here in the Philippines, my teachers in the past and the teachers up to the present have been discussing these parts from elementary to secondary, I was able to enjoy studying Unit II. I was reminded about the English sentence and its parts, from noun, to verb, adverb, adjective, preposition and conjunction. This unit really treated me, the learner, as a learner having zero knowledge which I think is right so that I can recall what I already knew in the past.
