This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

In this unit I learnt about the features and qualities of a good teacher and learner. A good teacher cares more about the learning of his students than his teaching. And a good learner has a great desire to listen, learn and ask questions. I also learnt that a good teacher has many roles during a typical lesson and he has to switch between these roles appropriately for instance from a manager to a prompter. I am now familiar with the motivation, experiences and behaviour of young learners and adults. I can now classify my learners according to age and language level. All in all, a good teacher has to ensure that his lessons are enjoyable, interesting, varied and useful in order to maintain or build his learners’ motivation.
