The information is quite broad and general, which I guess is okay for an introduction to the material. There isn't much more than was presented in the basic course. Perhaps a little more information as to the differences (even though most are self-explanatory) between the types of certificates used as presented in the General Terminology section and which are regarded as more 'valuable' in different areas of the world.I learned about the basic keys to successful receptive skill lessons and that was really beneficial. I learned how to choose material of interest and motivates the students and how to build interest before reading/listening, and now I know importance of pre-teaching complex new vocabulary and using a wide variation of materials. I learned how to incorporate activate phases that naturally lead on from the text I taught.
