This lesson taught the various forms of the past tense, including past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. It also taught the irregular verbs in the past simple tense. It gave a few teaching ideas, and it also taught various common mistakes within each form of the past tense. Given that this lesson was very short, I was able to finish it a lot quicker than the other lessons.Unit Overview:
Working through the tenses I recall my English teacher making us say the tenses out loud while writing them out in our work books. This has stuck with me over the years and I am pleased to say that she has instilled the use of the various tenses not knowing that I will use them to this extent one day. The correct use of these tenses ensures that the language is utilized to it's full potential.
