This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Although this unit was a bit short, I did learn some effective techniques for managing large class sizes and for managing a class of different skill levels. Remember how important the first class is and how to build rapport with the students was also very helpful. Thank you again for the materials in this course. I feel that I can now fill in some of the gaps in my experience of teaching English.I learnt the structure of past tenses in this unit. I realized that I am quite confused with questions 5 to 8, while the rest of the questions were pretty straightforward to me. When I was teaching children in a student care, I realized that sometimes they might also be confused with a regular and irregular past simple form and they tend to add 'ed' after a word that is supposed to be past tense.
