This unit taught me a lot about the teaching style and strategies I will be practicing in South Korea. There are a lot of similarities with the teacher training I received in the states. I am very familiar with the ESA model as I have practiced a variety of these strategies before, all dependent on the topic, time frame, and group of students I was teaching. I enjoyed learning about these more and also gaining tons of new ideas for each of these phases. I plan to use all of the engage activities provided, at least once throughout my placement. They all seem authentic and adjustable to topics and age groups. This unit was very helpful indeed, I look forward to putting into action all of the information I have gained from this unit.
