In brief, unit 14 covers the use of course books along with the advantages and disadvantages that go with them, and it also covers the use of both authentic and created materials. Most of what is taught in this lesson seems to be common sense. If I don't think that the course book offered by my particular school is not up to snuff, I can obviously either have a talk with the school regarding the material, or I can do some \"outside the box\" sort of thinking. For a beginner teacher such as myself however, I'm going to stick to the book until I'm more comfortable with being a teacher. It takes time to develop proficiency at any job, especially the arduous task of being a teacher; organizing children is much easier said than done.
