After this unit, it covered the present tenses: simple tense, present continuous, present perfect, and perfect continuous. I found this unit is really easy for me because I studied the tenses before, and present tense is the easiest tense among all the grammar usage. However, one thing different is I learnt different ideas to teach students the usage and situation of the tenses in the class.This unit examines the strengths and weaknesses of different methodologies of teaching students English, engaging students through elicitation, planning the format of lessons and feedback and corrections. It explains the usefulness of the Straight Arrow, Boomerang and Patchwork approaches to the Engage, Study and Activate method of teaching and provides examples for each stage of the method.
