Once again the English language proves to be more complicated than it appears (to a native speaker at least). I thought I had a good grip on conditionals but I have to admit I didn't really know what a mixed conditional was. This was a very good chapter because it explains difficult concepts in a very clear way, and that will help me explain the same concepts to my students.This unit contains information on the use of authentic and created materials, as well the as pros and cons associated with the use of course books. The utility of authentic materials and created materials is covered along with examples and samples. This unit also explains how to make the most of a course book by adapting and tailoring it to fit the needs of a specific class.
