In this unit, I have improved my knowledge about the various tests that are available and their uses. It is useful to conduct a diagnostic test to see where the level of the students prior to teaching to determine what to prepare for future tests that will create interest for the student. Progress tests are a good way to determine what information that the students have retained.This Unit gave me a broad overview of several different kinds of English grammar. I revised how to make use of modal auxiliary verbs and got to know their different applications. This Unit particularly stressed how strong they can shape the meaning of a sentence. The Phrasal Verb section was knew to me and very abstract since I have learned to use them naturally myself in school.
