Two very different student experiences. In the first teacher's tone was unfriendly, started with grammar terms without explaining them, was not interested in the student performance, nor cared if the instructions were understood and the students became shy and intimidated. The second one was a lot better, the teacher was funny, engaging, though used a lot of time to speak and there were no role play or much activity where the students were using the language themselves. The second lesson may have been a bit long, that the students can effectively take in 45 minutes of learning at a time and it was close the limit already. One second lesson's mistake was complete absence of grammar teaching, near the opposite to the first.
