This unit was dedicated to learning about how to manage classes. Eye contact, gesture, and voice are very important factors in the teaching process; learning how to make use of them wisely would make the teaching environment better. I also learnt about the pros and cons of the different ways of grouping students (whole class - pairs - students working on their own - group work) and choosing which type depends primarily on the type of activity they are enrolled in. The unit also focused on the ways of classroom arrangement, highlighting the teacher's position in each setting. What was of immense interest are the ways provided for reducing the teacher talking time (TTT) and how to establish good rapport with the students.
