I was a bit confused by question 11 Which of the following statements best describes the teaching situation denoted by the acronym TEFL.
Choices 3 & 4 seem to stand out and if I chose no.3. ''Teaching English to native speakers in a non-English speaking country''...does that mean native speakers of English or their own language in that particular non-English speaking country?
No. 4 '' Teaching English to non-native speakers in a non-English speaking country''. Well, that would mean people from other countries etc., Thailand, Venezuela, meeting in a country like China and then learning English in China. Well, to me that is about as foreign a situation as I can think of and so I chose number 4. Hoping I do okay on that.
