Before having read Unit 12, I used to think that speaking was the most important part due to the fact that ?speaking? is the easiest way to prove that someone can speak a language. Nevertheless, now I am wide aware that writing is as important as the other major abilities. Besides, now I am able to name a wide list of activities that would allow my students to become better in these productive skills.It is always interesting to go back through the different steps to learning a language. In my class my students struggle with the listening part. I try to read out loud to them as much as possible. I am pleased that there is the step to preteach vocabulary as I do that weekly with my students. I am going to build on the other study steps for my class rather than stopping at preteaching and then reading.
