In this lesson I learned the different ESA activities that I can apply when introducing new words or vocabulary to my students. It is important that students are motivated and are exposed to activities that will enhance them to learn new words essential to get by in the English language. When introducing new vocabulary it is important to explain the meaning, its usage, word grammar, spelling, pronunciation and interaction with other words. This lesson was filled with excellent material relating to passive and active voice. I think the greatest tool was the examples of the modal verbs using can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. This lesson contained content on relative clauses and distinguishing the difference between of pronouns in defining relative clauses and pronouns in non-defining relative clauses.
