This unit discussed the importance of reading and listening skills when learning a language. It explained the different types of reading one does for different purposes (ex. scanning, skimming, etc.). The unit discusses how to pick topics and mold it into a lesson plan. This examples helped me better grasp how to expand a simple listening lesson into a full activities.Unit 8 covered the Future Tenses including; future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going +infinitive, present simple and present continuous. Before I started this course, I have known how to use all of the future tenses but after reading through the Unit I realized that I will need a lot of practice to teach this topic to students.
