The unit explained in detail how modal auxiliary verbs are expressed and the specific degree of formality, probability and all other proper usage. The lesson provided many teaching ideas that will provide the foundation to effectively instructing new students on the proper usage.This unit discusses how to teach pronunciation and phonology. As I have an interest in linguistics but have not yet studied it, I found this unit interesting and potentially useful for my future lesson planning. Stress, rhythm, and intonation are an important part of communicating in English. I recently started teaching phonics, but now I can see the value in including phonology as well.
