In unit seven I learned about future tenses, and the different ways they can be taught. These tenses are future simple, future continuous, future prefect, future perfect continuous, 'going to' future, present simple, present continuous. Future simple is used for things like promises, predictions, and threats. Future continuous is used to do things like predict the present. Future perfect is used to say something will be done at a future point. Future perfect continuous is used to say something will continue by a certain point. 'Going to' future is used to give intentions or plans. Present simple is used to make suggestions in a formal situation. Present continuous is used to explain a definite arrangement.
