The key objective of this unit was about how to evaluate and test students. First I
learnt about why student involvement and participation on the course is important to make sure they understand what is being taught and identify areas to improve in. For example would be for students them to ask to be taught more grammar is quite common. Secondly I covered when it is appropriate to give tests during a course and how/when to use them, such as using practice test for the students to practice before an external exam. Finally I was made aware of a variety of general external examination courses such as TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and the different levels of the Cambridge assessment.
