Classroom management is a fundamental and integral component in teaching and learning processes. The effectiveness of the teacher's eye contact, gesture, voice, classroom arrangement, giving of instructions and the teacher's talking time greatly depend on the kind of rapport a teacher maintains during teaching. Without these elements, teaching and learning can be very chaotic.This unit showed me the pros and cons of using course books, authentic, and created materials. I was able to see more examples of activities that gave me many more ideas on what I could create myself for classroom use. I feel that I am now well versed in how to use different class materials and how to integrate my own style of teaching in to the school's required curriculum.
