Use of conditionals requires to use different tenses in order to have a new meaning. Sometimes it is necessary to review the tenses that will used in the conditional to avoid any mistake at the time of using any conditional. Also, it is mandatory the use of each conditional so students can give the proper use. Variety of activities to practice can help students to learn this new topic.I found this unit unexpectedly challenging. I fell like the use of tenses seems obvious based on my everyday use, however, to break down why each tense is different and find a way to explain to someone unfamiliar with past tense was more difficult than expected. Articulating the difference is something that I will continue to build on so that I can teach tenses effectively to students.
