The content of this unit was to do with lesson planning and the importance of it. It gave the basic principles of a lesson plan, why it is best to plan a lesson and a lesson plan structure. I found the example of a lesson plan 'worksheet' to be very useful. I think writing down what the objectives of what I want the students to get from the lesson (the learner objectives) and how I can achieve that (Teacher aims) will be very helpful for me to keep on track so that students are learning and, as a new teacher to successfully get through classes. I found the video also very helpful with its example of D, E ,GO (demonstrate, elicit and give out) and suggestions on how to monitor students and correct them.
