This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit is one of the most concise units covered in this course so far. I first learned about the modal auxiliary verbs, their usages and meanings. Using them in the past tense can be quite tricky and I expect that this can only be taught to higher level students. The next topic was relative clauses. It took me some time to figure out how to put the usage of a dependent clause into practice, because the text only provided a definition of the term and was not referred back to later. And lastly I learned about the three types of phrasal verbs. I expect that I will have to refer back to this unit and add quite some additional material to explain all this to students in a logical and understandable way.
