In the unit 3 I learned theories, methods and techniques how teach the language. For me was the most interesting method called The silent way. I've never heard of it. This methodology makes use of colored rods, each color representing an aspect of English language. An extensive part of this unit was devoted to the method 'ESA' - Engage, Study and Activate. The engage stage should engage the students fully, the study stage should provide for controlled practice, to see that the students have understood the language and can construct it in an accurate controlled way. Finally activate stage should give the students a chance to use the language fluently along with the rest of their language knowledge.
