In this unit, it provided a lesson on how to evaluate the students and the different kinds of testing conducted to know the knowledge level of the students. Evaluating students are very important so that we'll know the level of their language ability and what lesson we should teach them next. There are a number of ways to evaluate a student's language level: tutorials(can be individual or in group), evaluation by the students(promotes interaction and develops great awareness of students in a class) and tests(helps you to know what the students do know and don't know at thebeginning of the course. There are different kinds and levels of test for students: placement test(to know which class the student belongs to according to their language ability), progress test(to know what the students remember and have forgotten from the previous lesson), diagnostic test(simillar to placement test but more extensive) and practice test(a preparation for students before taking a general external examination).
