In this unit, it was covering many topics. It covered classroom management. It discusses the importance of gestures, eye contact, and voice. It is vital to maintain these three factor in order to establish a successful learning environment and atmosphere. It gave ideas of which gestures to use and when to use them. Also when it is important to use a student name and when it's not the appropriate time to use it. I learned that in order for students to all feel comfortable it's not a good idea to point at a student. The also covered the different ways that you can arrange students in the classroom and which ways would make a teacher more dominant. I learned the different ways and methods provided by the unit. The unit stressed the importance of giving students each individual attention but also having group conversations to break the ice.
