As much as I appreciate the power of reflection and the use of those metacognitive practices that are spoken so highly of in educational research, it has been hard to find suitable content to reflect over. The majority of content so far should be known to a native English speaking teacher. As such, forced reflection is not necessarily the best way to end a unit. I would say a more valuable question would be for the student to look for alternative or creative ways to approach teaching the present tense. Some ideas were given in the materials, but overall the majority of the content was about understanding the tense itself.
