This unit covers the use of authentic versus non-authentic teaching materials, designing non-authentic materials, lesson planning, and the other resources to supplement as teaching materials. The use of authentic teaching materials versus non-authentic teaching materials was explored in the previous TESOL course. The use of authentic materials in the context of business English would compose of news, actual meeting recordings, telephone conversations, and product presentation. Where designing non-authentic materials would still mimic the mentioned materials above to foster a sense of professional working environment. Again, the lesson planning acts as a review for the previous TESOL course, where we construct this lesson plan as a way to back up just in case we had a sudden health concern or other equivalent dire circumstances that prevent us from teaching that day. Book resources, the internet, and webliography act as an additional resource for us to come up with our lesson plans and well as teaching materials. We need to utilize all the mentioned materials to our best ability to match our teaching with the students' need.
