In this unit I really learned how to make an effective ESA lesson plan. The ideas for each stage of the lesson plan were amazing and eye opening. I learned to be more encouraging to let the students talk and to only correct in a positive and helpful way during the study and activate parts of the lesson IF it seems that the mistake cannot be corrected by the student or another classmate and would become a pattern for the whole class. I think this is the best way to run the 'correction' part of the lesson because if the student figures out the mistake themselves they are more likely to remember the correction and plus feel proud and have an extra ego boost in terms of their language abilities.
