This unit had two videos showing class sessions. In the first video , the teacher goes straight into the lesson and uses words (modal auxiliary verb) that students are unlikely to understand. The students hardly participate in the lesson and it soon comes to an end. In the send video, the teacher takes a different approach. He is louder, more vibrant and energetic. he introduces himself at the beginning of the lesson and cares to learn the names of the students. He uses terms/means that the students are familiar with in order to teach them a new concept. The students participate more in the second video and the lesson is seemingly more fun and exciting for both the teacher and the students.
