As I remarked in the unit reflection of unit 7, I have a hard time grasping what makes certain exercises appropriate for some phases of a lesson and not for others. I am generally a creative person which makes it fairly easy for me to consider different ways an exercise could be presented to the class. I think the main reason for me experiencing this problem is that I do not have a lot of recent teaching experience and I am fairly certain that once I start teaching again and start getting the feeling for the general flow of the lessons it will probably be easier for me to divide these exercises in a clearer way.
