This unit discusses modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. I learned that modals greatly impact the meaning of a sentence. Phrasal verbs are very common and must be taught even if they are difficult to get right. Passive voice is a little easier to understand, but it isn't for certain English language learners and relative clauses are used differently in other languages. Many of these grammar points are hard even for native speakers to understand, let alone explain, so it's important to teach them. In my opinion, some of the examples of phrasal verbs aren't used in American English, making them harder for Americans studying this course to understand. There are many universally accepted phrasal verbs, so I hope the course would consider changing the examples and the ones on the unit test. Also, this may just be an overview, but more examples of each of the types of phrasal verbs would be very useful.
